Hi, I’m Elise! I started Mermaid Venom in 2019 because I was tired of choosing between “cute” and “cursed.”

I’ve always been the person who keeps Halloween decorations up in July and gets excited about a good bat. I couldn’t find one shop that had everything I wanted: gothic clothes, creepy-cute home decor, jewelry that looks like it came from a haunted estate sale. So I built one.

Mermaid Venom is for people who think skulls go with everything, think black counts as a color, and think Halloween counts as a personality.
